Some of the best tasting dogs in America..Ate here in the 70s came back Thur Altoona and by chance drove by to see if they were here..yes... Worth the drive from Pittsburgh...

I try to stop in Texas Hotdogs every time I'm in Altoona. And the girls on first shift are so friendly. I'm sure they are on all shifts. But I usually go in before 3. And I really like how you go in and you always are treated with a Hello. I can still remember the original building. When I was growing up. And how the dining room was separate from the counter. Where u are in there or you still could sit outside. By the way. The Mac n cheese is great. According to my granddaughters. Only my 7 yr old would never eat it. Until o... read more
