The billing at Texas Health is horrible. They will require you to pay your full deductible prior to a hospital procedure but they do not report it to your insurance company which then requires you to pay it again.

Double full knee replacement, great job on both ones by Dr. Taunton. Texas Health Southlake, great facility with wonderful staff. Couldn’t have been better. Highly recommended. Takes great care of you.

THR has incredibly caring and talented medical staff- nurses are top notch. That said, billing is horrendous as well as the care of women which is treated as a liability with the idea that women do not have the right to know about their own body or refuse services if they feel it is unnecessary. If the care of women is viewed as such a liability and is dependent on the belief women don’t know anything about their own body, then your system should probably switch to treating men only.

My husband received the BEST care tonight. The doctor came in immediately and his nurse was friendly but professional, making him feel important. He and I talked about the excellent care he got all the way home. The most important part was that he felt so much better physically!
