Texas Health Resources is implementing inhumane and dangerous rules during this time regarding visitors for patients. Their new policy is that as of June 1, patients can have visitors from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM. I would never EVER visit anywhere that removes patient advocates. Not only are they there for the safety of the patient but to catch mistakes on behalf of the nurses and doctors. I would NEVER leave a loved one under anyone’s care without an advocate. yeah it's nice to know that you're doctors up there screwing around with people's lives saying that they have covid-19 just so that y'all can get the government money when they don't even have the freaking covid-19
Answer the phone occasionally. Don't make people wait 1.25 hours past their scheduled appointment time in order to see the doctor.
My father is currently in Harris downtown, the case workers have been about as cold as someone can be. Calling a woman in her mid-70’s 12 times on Saturday, then starting again Mother’s Day morning is ridiculous, bullying her into a rush decision on what she would like to do with my father. Absolutely NO compassion or thoughtfulness in the phone call, I get it...case worker has obviously a script and check list to follow, and move them out the door as fast as you can. A friend of mine is currently there with a broken leg and they refuse to treat her because she has no insurance. Barbaric in a so called civilised country
Shocked at how Judgemental & Shallow a couple of the L&D Nurses are . Ooh and when I first got my room I went into the bathroom and in the shower was someone else's urine. I really liked this hospital once before .... but now I will never come back to this hospital .
