I went to the Texas Health Internal Medicine Residency Clinic in Plano. The woman doctor in charge there is obnoxious. No person deserves such a response from someone who calls themself a doctor. What a waste of my time.
I met with Jillian Fincher, FNP, and she was really kind, thoughtful and helpful. I haven’t had a PCP sit with me and talk to me personally and at-length like that before, so I really appreciated her as a practitioner. Definitely recommend her for a visit!
I wish I could give Texas Health Internal Medicine a 0 review if available. I set an appointment last week for my high blood pressure that I need a Dr. help with. Showed up today at my scheduled appt at 1:00pm, and they told me they could not see me because of my previous Dr. that retired. I told the office last week that Dr Cheatham had retired, so they aske me if I preferred an male DR or Female DR, I said I do not care as long as I get the help I need with my blood pressure. Jillian is one of the best listeners and made me feel like I was heard and understood, and that it matters. She walked through everything with me and all of my family history and other factors to help me. She was thorough and took her time to get to know me. I feel so relieved after seeing her and knowing she is helping me to live my best and healthiest life!
Family and I have been patients of this office for years. Love the doctors and their care. Today was a different experience with Wana in the front office. I had a well visit scheduled 6 months out. I got a call that it needed to be rescheduled one hour prior to the appointment. That’s fine- things happen and I understand the need for rescheduling as I too work in healthcare.
