Was able to get back earnest money deposit for deal on a home that fell through nearly six months after I submitted the deposit. Was told by Title company holding deposit that my agent Lauren refused to get back with them in a timely manner and that she had not contacted them as she had initially stated to release my deposit.. Luckily my persistence paid off and I received my deposit months later. Bad home buying experience overall.
