After 12 years of untreatable relief and many ischemic coloitis attacks, somehow, I was referred to Dr. Jabbour at Texas Colon & Rectal Specialists. From my first consultation with Dr. Jabbour, I knew he was different and felt hopeful for the first time in more than a decade. Today, because of the CoVid19 shutdown, I just had a tele-med video appt with Dr. Jabbour and did not feel “cheated” in any way. He spent time with me, responded to my questions and came up with a plan in spite of not being in his office. He will be doing my reversal (I had an emergent Total Colectomy while on vacation in December 10, 2019, and Dr. Jabbour has been faithfully doing my follow up and helping me with all of my relentless questioning! This is a HUGE learning curve and between Dr. Jabbour and his PA, MacKenzie, I have felt supported at every challenge during this recovery. I am grateful that he is leading my team of support.
