My son was taken Texas Children's Hospital PICU in The Medical Center via ambulance on June 21, 2017 due to his blood pressure reaching stroke levels. The ER team was awesome then he was transfered to PICU. The PICU Doctor on duty advised us that they would be giving my son a couple of meds in order to slowly lower his pressure. The Nurses and staff are amazing! Just make sure if there is a "team" of doctors; that everyone is communicating among themselves and everyone is on the same page. It makes for a smoother transition for you and your child.
The PCA named Victor on the 6th floor over in the Abercrombie building and her nurse Nelson were such wonderful caring young men. I felt better knowing she was in thier care when i had to go home after my visit with her
TCH in the medical center and The Woodlands ALWAYS take care of me!
First time being there was great.everyone was so compassionate ,friendly and professional.I knew my grand baby was in good hands,from the doctors to the valet people.my grand daughter's delivery and surgery was a great success.
I love that Hospitals the Doctor's an the nurses are so professional an very understanding an explain things where you can understand they make you feel better about things an answer an questions you may have I can't thank them enough for taking such good care of my Grandchild.
This is the most awesome hospital for children and their families! Everyone from the highest on staff to the lowest are extremely helpful and considerate! My 3 year old little cousin had open heart surgery here today and the surgeon, Dr. Mery and his team were beyond awesome! Thank you for all you do here at Texas Children's Hospital!
I love TCH and there is no place else I would take my daughter. Emilee will be 8 years old in July and she has Down syndrome and had open heart surgery at 4 months old to repair a complete AV canal defect. The surgeon, doctors, nurses and everyone that has ever had anything to do with her care at TCH have been awesome. They have always treated her and us with respect and like she was important and that she matters. All of her doctors are associated with TCH and I would never go anywhere else.
