Saved my daughter’s life. Texas Children’s is the number one pediatric heart care center in the world for a reason, both for CHD and transplant. My daughter was born with CHD and is now a heart transplant recipient. She will continue her care here for the rest of her life, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with her future. Just to schedule an appointment it’s absolutely ridiculous. You press the button to schedule an appointment and they give you attitude and tell you to call a different number. It seems that the people that work there particularly the scheduling don’t give a dam about the patients mind you this is a pediatric clinic. I would give them a 0 star if it were an option. We had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Komar at Texas Children’s Hospital Ophthalmology. We had an appointment for my daughter at 11:00 AM and was driving 2.5 hours to get there. Unfortunately, due to an accident on I-10, we were delayed. I called the office at 10:00 AM—an hour before our appointment—to let them know we would be late, explained the situation, and requested if they could please accommodate us later in the day.
