Call this place and they will take forever to answer or you will get a message saying they are not available. I have been calling for a week and nothing! finally I called and hold for an hour to get a hold of an operator, a lady by name of Nicole answered, her response sounded like she didn't want to work. I told her my situation that I wanted to get a hold of Doctor's Blumenthal personnel because I have been trying to speak to them for a week and they are not returning my call, she said "hold" and she transferred me to the... read more

I really like Dr. Sheena Bhuva, but the Texas Back Institute continues to have issues with phones being answered (after 30 minutes I hung up). Tried their patient portal and it did not work. Tried their chat system and it did not work. Was scheduled for a televisit today and it never happened. Drove to offices and they have no record of my appointment. I have to wait another week to get in. I am seriously concerned about staying with them as a patient.

Dr. Staub and his staff are amazing! My husband is 50 years old and has (or had) combination curve scoliosis. His pain became unbearable -- it had begun to impact his daily living skills, his job, and his life in general. Dr. Staub fused from T3 all the way to L4 (14 vertabrae I think). The first few days were rough, but after 3 weeks, he was totally pain free and off all pain medicine!!!! Now, my husband did what the doctor and therapists said to do, and I think this helped him to be doing as well as he is. We are so i... read more

Texas back cut 2 of nerves. Now I have ATROPHY and NEUROPATHY. I have use a catheter and put on a vinyl glove, so I can pull out my poop. They did a bad job that had operate again to cut the rod in my back. I spend 90% of my life, that I thought of suicide. I need two more operations. Please use a NEUROSURGEON, they are better where nerves are involved. IN FACT BELOW THEIR IS OFFICE IS A NEUROSURGEON, CALLED DR. DICKERMAN.

I am shocked to see all of the 1 star reviews of Texas Back Institute. I have been treated for my grade II spondilolysthesis by Dr. Michael Hisey since 2015. My condition degraded due to the fact that I chose to lift heavy weights competitively, not due to any of the care from Dr. Hisey. I had a spinal fusion with Dr. Hisey in January 2018 and hold him and TBI in the highest esteem. I would recommend Dr. Hisey and TBI to anyone who is experiencing any form of back disorder or pain. Leading up to my back surgery, Dr. Hisey a... read more

I’ve had several experiences with TBI. It started in 2011. I will not go into details about my diagnosis and things. The first time we ended up doing some epidurals. They helped a bit but didn’t last long, and they said well that’s all we can do for you. I dealt with it, and honestly it settled down a bit with flair ups here and there. I did some PT and chiro else where. Then in 2014 things got really bad. I saw my PCP they gave me 3 drugs, no relief, then a prednisone pack, also no help. So I went to TBI…again. Told the d... read more
