I visited this location last evening and already feeling as good as new. Thanks Dr Alex and Dr Thomas for the accurate diagnosis and tests. Appreciate it. Just a suggestion. I couldn't save my spot as I dont have a US number so needed to make 2 trips to get seen. Could I have waited for a while instead of making me come back in 6hrs?
Dr Ken was the best doctor experience i ever had. Professional, witty and caring. He knew more than most medical professionals and solved my issue in one visit. It was great to have this option over the weekend instead of having to wait until the following week.
Person who checked me in and the nurse during my visit were the best people in the place. Overall, UCSF is mediocre. I have been to 3 different locations within the past year. They didn’t diagnose an ear infection properly the first time, so had to go in again. Costing more money. My most recent experience, I am waiting for a test result. I just called to see when I should expect results. They said could be Monday or Tuesday? I got the test done on Thursday. While on a short trip to San Francisco, I had to visit the Urgent Care on Lombard St after fracturing a bone in my foot. The office staff was friendly and helpful. The PA-C I saw, Thomas Loe, was very nice and had great "bedside manners". The medical assistant (Siraj ?) was a very nice and professional young man. Overall, it was a painful experience, but they all made me feel very welcome. Thanks!
Staff were polite, efficient, caring. I got in to see the PA after waiting only a few minutes, even though I was early. (I had made an online appointment.) The PA, Thomas, explained things well, was caring, and efficiently provided the treatment I needed.
