I wish they had a zero star option this company is horrible and insane my system has not worked now and i have to jump through a bunch of hoops to run there diag process or as they told me pay 300 dollars to have someone come test it. There customer service is horrible i dont know how tesla is even still in business. My experience with Tesla started back in March 2025. I had a roofer come out because I was missing a shingle in the front of my house from a wind storm. The roofer told me I had two different colors of shingles on my roof one color in the front of my house another color in the back of my house so a lady named Jewel, whom I started talking to in April. Tesla is the worst company I've ever dealt with period. Their customer service is nonexistent. You can't call, you have to send an email in and hope that the AI graces you with a chat. If you're lucky enough to get someone, they'll schedule you with an appoint for six weeks to two months out. Then the tech will show up an hour and a half after the 10-3 window they gave you (which forced you to take a full day off of work). The tech won't be able to actually do anything, just schedule another work order for two months later. ... read more
STAY AWAY. Worst company to deal with. We have roof damage from a storm and although there is a hole in my roof above my six year old daughter's room, the earliest they will come out to remove the panels so we can get the roof repaired is November. They already screwed up the permitting process by putting the wrong address on the application costing us more time. Their customer service is the worst and don't care about customer health or safety.
I've had tesla solar for more than 7 years now. I'm paying more per kWh for solar than what I pay for BGE per kWh. Rip off.
