I've had my Tesla solar system since 2024. Before solar, I was getting power outages from SCE more frequently, especially at night when we need electricity the most. After several of these incidents, I decided to go with Tesla solar to be energy independent. My experience overall with customer service has been terrible. Roofers break tiles and when they do come to repair they break more and do not replace. No one wants to help when I call. I would never recommend Tesla Solar.
The overall experience was good. The installers were very thorough and the installation looks very professional and neat. Process from beginning to end took Four months from The first phone call to them at thestart to finished Installation. It took another month for the city to finally sign off on everything. The only Critique I would make is that if there was one point of contact from the beginning to the end, it would feel more comfortable that you are moving forward and being taken care of.
