Had Apollo come take a look at my forced air furnace that wasn't coming on at times. The guy arrived and didn't do any diagnostic work at all! He instantly said that I could spend hundreds replacing parts trying to fix it so he recommended replacing it. He gave me a quote of $4200 to replace it and then wanted $110 for the service call. I asked him to break down the estimate and he wouldn't. Furnaces at Home Depot are around $1200 so I thought the estimate was a bit high.
