Honestly, the service is subpar at TXR 90% of the time. I've had to get up and look for our waiter on several occasions, even during slow times when no music was going on. The undercooked french toast today was the last straw....waited 20 minutes for a waiter after being seated at 2:30pm. Music good. Food and service....awful.
What a cool and fun place to grab a beer, wood-fired pizza, relax and listen to fine music with your friends! I recommend the mushroom arugula pizza coupled with a draft Lagunitas IPA. An excellent yet small venue for bands, right next door to a gorgeous and relaxing bar and restaurant. You can get there by car, boat, or foot - the compass always points to Terrapin. Thank you Phil & Staff for TXR! :)
Phil and his family did an excellent job. This has given me somewhere to fellowship and listen to live music any day of the week. Great food, great atmosphere, great music. The Grateroom is beautiful wood with glass chandeliers. I could go on and on. I will end by saying Thank u Phil!!!
