Stopped here 3 times now traveling between Boca and Dc food exceptional every time!! Very friendly staff and quirky place in an old Waffle House !!
The food was really good, service was fast and they kept checking on us. Savannah has a lot of good restaurants where good food and service is the norm - but usually you pay top dollar to get it and don't expect to find a place this good right off the Interstate. Next time I am in town with a craving for pizza, I will do my usual downtown sightseeing and then come out here for dinner. So should you.
Great food when they get it correct, however I’ve been screwed over to many times by them when getting it to go. Sunday night, my order came with no bread whatsoever. And then ordered veal parm with a side of fettuccine Alfredo and got fettuccine noodles with red sauce. Food is good but not worth it when paying the kind of money they’re asking.
I'm originally from Chicago, I'm a straight up Italian and it's been a long time since I've had worthy Italian food. This place nailed it!! Highly suggest!
Terrible service, terrible food. I couldn’t eat more than 5 bites due to so much salt. We heard 7 other tables complain as well. We were seated and waited over 90 minutes for 3 entrees, the fourth (spaghetti and meatballs) never came out even after 110 minutes. Who serves 3 our of 4 meals? The restaurant was about half full. If this is acceptable to them, I suggest no one goes there to support their ignorance. I would feel ripped off even if it was only $5. Went there for the first time last night with 2 friends. We were told when we arrived that it would be a 45 minute wait which turned into over an hour. It took another hour to get our food. The food was amazing but 3 hours was as way too much time to spend there. It is very small and was packed!!
I think this place is great! Eggplant parmigiana, mussels, clams , calamari- its wonderful!!! Cozy and quaint atmosphere and staff is polite and attentive!! No need to go downtown!!
