Great care from the doctor, but the billing and administrative systems need improvement Dr. Chen’s care itself was highly professional and satisfying. I am FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR HAVING MET DR. CHEN! He is the most caring, thoughtful and articulate surgeon I’ve met (and unfortunately I’ve had to meet with a lot of them). I am in need of an eight or nine vertebrae full cervical fusion. I’ve gotten 7 opinions from some of the top doctors in the country, even as far away as LA and New York, with solutions ranging from “do nothing” to do some of it now and some of it later, to do it all NOW. Dr. Chen is a highly respected and wonderful surgeon. He scheduled me for surgery very shortly after my first consultation. My surgery was successful and I am so grateful to Dr. Chen and his wonderful staff. They treat their clients with kindness and respect. I would like to add that I met with Dr. Chen himself, not his PA. I had an appointment with another neurosurgeon on the same day and I only met with his PA.
It seems more common for folks to express negative experiences on-line. I'm glad not to have read the posts here until after my visit. I found the office staff extremely attentive to detail and efficient in arranging an appointment for me in short order. My visit with Dr. Chen was extremely professional, thorough, and informative. I would not hesitate to refer family and friends to Dr.Chen.
