I have never had anything other than a positive experience here. The food is phenomenal. The service is great. The drinks are good and everyone is friendly and happy. in my opinion, the best Mexican restaurant in Hampton Road

The hostess didn’t try to look at all happy to be there, she didn’t say a word to us and looked mad. The sopes that I ordered were raw. It looks like they get some wholesale sopes and don’t even fry them. My daughter ordered veggie fajitas because she’s pescatarian and it had one piece of chicken and another of carne asada. The waitress said it was because they cook them on the same griddle. She didn’t offer to replace it. The carnitas were good and so was the street corn. I stopped by Tequila Jalisco on Great Neck Road around 8 p.m. on a Tuesday night, and I was honestly surprised by how empty it was, especially for Taco Tuesday! The dining room is pretty spacious with plenty of seating, so I was expecting it to be a little busier. That said, we were seated immediately and had a really good experience.
