Great living at Tent City I lived in Tent City Apartments for 2 years and I loved living there. The apartment complex is in a great location -- it is right next to Copley and the Prudential and it is only a short walk from Newbury St. and the Boston Common. The green and orange lines are also close by, so it is very easy to get to any part of the city in a short amount of time. The apartments are great. Suboptimal living conditions A poor place for living unless you are willing to sacrifice for location. Rent is not cheap, and your neighbor may be only paying a fraction of what you pay due to market subsidies. Yet, they do nothing for security, frequently denied credit for repairs they made to the apartment that left us homeless, and have very unknowledgeable staff. I would highly recommend staying away from this place.
