TN Home Inspectors completely failed my home inspection and as a result I am losing thousands of dollars in repairs that I could have required the prior owner repair prior to my purchase. My inspection report stated smoke detectors were appropriately dispersed throughout the house and were operational. I received Mr. *******'s complaint on Wednesday and requested more info for follow up. He was very responsive and readily supplied additional information and documentation. We scheduled a meeting at the vacant property at his convenience on Friday. He has legitimate complaints. Our inspector failed him. I offered him a refund as noted and he was appreciative. It is my desire to come to an agreement that is satisfactory in nature where both parties leave with a appreciation of the other and no hard feeling are had. Mr *****... read more
