I had a couple old vehicles that didn’t run and didn’t want to deal with hauling them off myself. Got in touch with a few different companies to come pick them up. TYS Recycling offered the most for the vehicles! Over double what everybody else was offering. And they came and picked them up less than 24 hours after I got the quote from them!
Very fair price and extremely punctual! Would definitely use them again!
After years of avoiding using them as a parts resource, I stopped in on my way to Pull-a-part and it was the same terrible experience. They have no interest in selling parts to anyone off the street. Maybe if your an insurance claim agent, auto shop, or selling your car they provide better service but swinging in for parts they grudgingly offer service.
I had a extremely bad experience with a competitor. Called them on Monday, receptionist told me they could pick up the car on Thursday. Never heard a word back. I tried to call twice on Thursday, got sent to voicemail. So this morning I called TAS. Young lady told me she would get a driver out between 12:00 - 2:00. Johan came at around 1:15 we signed papers.
