My daughter was naturally scared of visiting the dentist, but what an amazing experience for her! From the moment we walked into the waiting room, everyone was so kind and friendly. The Dentist and Dental Assistant took their time with my daughter and engaged her in all that they were doing. I recommend Tender Smiles for Kids to all parents! The balloon and gifts at the end where a special treat as well! Wonderful experience!
When our children were born we simply took them to our regular (non pediatric) dentist for 6 years. One child does great with dental hygiene, the other doesn't do as well and her baby teeth have unusually high peaks / low valleys. At 6 years old all if a sudden gets 4 cavities - one in each if the 4 farthest molars. She is also an unusually small, active child. Cheating! They are only interested in money from you and insurance! and via cheating! I had my daughter an emergency appointment to pull two teeth out. We only talked about to plan to have a space maintainer next year. But they immediately billed the insurance for $250 for the space maintainer which was not done yet. we called them many times, then they promised to refund the money to insurance, but they never do it. My wife and I love Dr Max. Being in the industry I am very aware of all of my options for my son. I chose this office mainly due to Dr Max's educational background, his continued education he gets throughout the year as well as his honesty. His state of the art facility which features all of the latest innovations in dentistry is top notch and a great/inviting environment for a child. The open floor plan is perfect for children which features TV's above every chair to keep children relaxed throughout their visit
My three kids have been going to Dr. Max for years and they love him! They always ask when we're going back as their visits are always pleasant and pain-free. The staff is very friendly and eager to please and accommodate every request. We never have long waits to be seen and Dr. Max is great with pediatric preventive treatments which saved us a lot of time and $$ when we began orthodontic care with Dr. Chan who is excellent. Visited this place twice and can clearly say it is all about treating you to get more money from you. Got charge over $700 for one visit....that after they took money from insurance. Promise my kid balloon and toys , forgot. Poor kid got very upset. Same thing happened second time. Plus promise to talk about cleaning routine and again forgot. But never forget to collect the money.
Usually finding a dentist is a headache but i found tender smiles for kids on yellow pages.com and read the reviews and decided to give them a call. I have to say that it was a very smart decision on my part to give them a call. My dentist really focuses on adults and isn't that great with the kids and to be honest i never really knew there was such a thing as a pediatric dentist. I brought my kids to TenderSmiles4Kids and both my daughter and son had 2 cavities each and they both were terrified of the dentist...including me! However Dr. Max Sulla was able to use a laser to get rid of the cavities with no shots or drills. I was really amazed! I am so happy I brought them here and I would highly recommend Dr. Max Sulla as your pediatric dentist!
