The place is clean, I started bringing my family here. I provide my insurance and they give me the copay amount, I pay it. but after every time I always get surprise bills on my next visit. The last time I came I said I don’t want any surprise bills, just tell me how much is covered and how much is owed! Just double check what js covered and tell me the final number. They guaranteed me no more surprises and surprise surprise, I get another bill! I’ve finally had enough.

Two stars because the real stars of this place are the hygienists and front desk staff. Honestly, they’re the only reason I keep coming back. There were already some confusing moments with insurance estimates and coverage, but my bigger issue was with the dentist (the older gentleman—I can’t remember his name). To be fair, he was perfectly pleasant the entire appointment, which is probably why this behavior flies under the radar. I was going to Tend for 3 years+ at this point, and this year has truly ruined my experience and I will be finding a new dentist. This January, they told me I needed a crown on a cracked filling. I proceeded, Dr. Buchanan shaved down my tooth and placed a temporary crown. I had to come to 4 subsequent visits where they tried to place the permanent crown, none of which fit.
