What a JOKE!!!!!! – This place is the biggest scam! They told us our drink service was one thing and then charged us another. The waitress was very rude and opened up another bottle and just started pouring. They charged our credit card without authorization and gave it to someone not even in our party. Their managers are also a bunch of creeps. Stay away, it is all a big scam. The topper was the waitress then gave herself a 20% tip!
Strip Mall? – It's in a strip mall near an airport, enough said! If you want a cool club with an amazing scene go to LA. If you want a fun bar in Newport, go toards the Beach.
i agree, don't waste your time – I went with some friends and we waited outline in their line for over 45 minutes, and it was to make sure that they had a line so it looked busy and full. It was pretty empty inside at like 10pm, so they felt they needed to make it look full inside with a line. Then once it was full inside, it was too packed full of people. We had a great night! – I went here last weeking with a few of my friends and had a great time. The food and drinks were exceptionally good. The dj was awesome and there were a lot of great looking people. I would definitely recommend Tentation for any type of party you are having of just a night on the town.
Pretentious with a Capital P – The door staff people are very rude and pretentious. Once you do get in, it is small, crowded, over-priced and pretty lame. If you want to feel like a member of the in-crowd, you should go, but it is really over-hyped. How can you be that pretentious located in a strip mall with a coin gallery? Just cut the cover, hire some nice people and stop trying to be so cool.
don't count on getting in on a Sat – I recently went there with a large group of friends on a Saturday evening. We even called ahead of time to find out how much it would cost and how to get on the guestlist. When we arrived, dressed to the nines, we were told that there was a private party going on that night and they were closed to the public. Finally a New York quality restaurant in the OC – From the moment you enter under the most amazing waterfall to the wonderful hostess and management staff that greet you at the door, you know you are in for an experience. Worst service EVER!! – Although the food and ambience is pretty nice, the service/staff has made me never want to go back. The first time I went, I made a reservation for 2. They lost my reservation and I ended waiting an hour. I didn't even get a table inside - but on the patio. I gave the restaurant another shot last night. I made reservations for 4. Service to make you Regret – A group of 8 of us had dinner there on a Sat night. I worked as a server for many years... so normally I am pretty carefree and understanding in situations. From the hostess to server to assistant manager... they were all beyond rude.
