If the service were better this place would be great! – This is an email that I sent to the manager of TEN today. We arrived at about 6pm, really excited and happy to send our friend off with a nice going away celebration. The smiles quickly vanished when we had to deal with an unhappy hostess. The bar area was full, so we asked to be seated in the dining area. Ultra LAME tentations lounge – wow! this place was TERRIBLE. I read all the terrible reviews, but was hoping since it was a concert event (mickey avalon - the dopest rapper this century) with tickets lines and the bottle service scam wouldn't be in full effect. WRONG. RUDE & WASTE OF TIME – Friends and I planned a birthday party around going to Ten, ended up waiting in line from 9:30 to 11:00 and left because they wouldn't let us in. They basically try to scam you into buying bottle service by making you wait a ridiculous length of time outside and sell bottle service the whole time. This isn't even a hot club. Good Food and Great Music – I go to Ten and Tentation about once a month, usually on Thursdays. I would have to say that it's some of the best sushi I have eaten. The decor inside the restaraunt is really nice, with a huge budda sitting over the sushi bar. If you want to get into the culb in a timely manner, you have to know someone. Bottom line at every hip club...it's not what you know it's who you know. If you aren't on the list, dont bother. throw ur enemies party here cause for sure he or she will have a horrible time – This place was THEEE WORST place to have a good time. The crowd was as odd as it gets. You have 40+ year olds still trying to pick up a nights fling. It was horrible. the gogo dancers were hot...but that's about it. the place was small, the music played was wack, there were no PLACES to sit, you would have to have paid 300.00 to sit down. it was horrible.

Very Very Cool – OK...I don't know where all the negative comments come from? However, if you pay attention to most, they all complain about how expensive the drinks are...or how difficult it is to get in!!!! Maybe these people should just stay in thier local dive bars! We should be happy that we can have a "South Beach" or "LA" feel club in OC. ....The place is awsome, the staff is great, the crowd is beautiful...and maybe too cool for OC. My advise to all the haters...Travel a little!!
SNORE – Went here on a random friday because we were on guest list. If i wasnt on guest list, i would've regretted life that night. When we got there (around 11), no one was dancing. NO ONE! Outdoor patio is cool, but also very crowded. The crowd is older--late 20's-30's and is mostly caucasians and persians. A little snooty for my taste. Drinks were expensive too. Music was trance/ hip hop. I wouldnt visit this place again!
Best Dining in Newport!! – I LOVED this restaurant! I read the other reviews, and I think that now 2007 (the bad reviews written in 2005) are completely wrong. Right when I walked in i was greeted by a smile and I did arrive early for my reservation, which they had, my husband and I went to the bar for pre dinner cocktails which were served by the friendliest bartender.
