My experience with this company has been horrible and I would not recommend to anyone. I should have known to expect problems when the company REQUIRES you to complete a survey as a part of the lease agreement. I am not sure how the expect you to review the service prior to moving in. Additionally, when I had issues with the landlord, Temporary Accommodations always sided with them landlord or made excuses for them. Once TA has a signed agreement you can forget about assistance from them.
Business response:
Temporary Accommodations does not require the completion of any survey. Lease agreements are between the landlord and the tenant. Temporary Accommodations does not sign any lease agreements. We provide property search services. We search for available rental properties and negotiate with landlords to rent their properties to our customers on a short-term basis. Our surveys are sent to customers after a property search has been completed and the customer has chosen a property. Still, this survey is optional and not a requirem... read more
Honestly the only plus to this business what so ever is they booked hotels for me. They didn't do 3/4 of the job. Not a single one of them. Darn shame these people get x amount of policyholder money for legit making 1 phone call. No one knew I had a service dog, or that my ID was mia this company was beyond rude to deal with. I don't understand how they're employed. Shame on em all. Taking advantage of folks already in rough situations

If I could give this organization a zero, I would. My home was damaged due to flooding, and my insurance company (State Farm) paid for a hotel stay while construction was ongoing to repair the damage. My insurance adjuster suggested booking my hotel room through their agent "Temporary Accommodations" because it would be more convenient for me. However, nothing could have been further from the truth. At first, everything seemed to go smoothly, except that they asked for money up front from me, which should have been red flag ... read more

My elderly parents were placed in a hotel and then an apartment by TA (contracted by insurance) after their house burned. Reconstruction of their house took longer than expected and the apartment complex agreed to extend the lease on a month-by-month basis, and did so for several months. Then, they decided to stop and kicked my parents out. My folks had to find storage for the things they had accumulated and go back to a hotel for the final two months it took to finish their house. This was undue extra stress on top of a... read more
our house was hit by a tornado in aug 2019. they set us up with a hotel room. the electricians repaired our wiring so we could stay in house. i called temporary accommodations and told them . we did not need the room cancelled early so should not be a problem. was told no problem. i get a letter in the mail 7 months later saying we owe them 144.00. claim they have been sending messages. have never received one. i went ahead and paid the bill. if anything happens to our house again i would rather sleep in a card board box tha... read more

my house burned down in 2016, this company made sure my family had all we needed to be comfortable during a one year temp housing situation. They are pleasant and work behind the scenes to get done what needs to be done.
It has been an honor, in my short time with TA, to be able to assist those in need and recommend TA to others!!! Amazing company to work for!
