We just found Tempe Yarn & Fiber recently. It is a really great store. They support local artists and yarn producers. Their selection is excellent and their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We felt zero pressure in this store. Their teaching staff is also great!
Amazing store. The staff is helpful and friendly. Okay so the first part was after one visit. Now I have been several times and sit and knit with some of the gals. What a fun bunch. Both patrons and staff are so friendly and helpful. Never one did I feel like I was out of place. This is more than a store it is a community of fiber artist that love to share their craft! The have a wonderful selection of yarn and I enjoy spinning the fiber. They're very friendly and I'm always greeted when I go there, probably because I always look like an excited tourist when I walk in.
I wanted to visit a fancy yarn store while we were in the area and saw this store! As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and (since I probably looked excited and overwhelmed) given a mini tour. There are so many different types of yarn in a rainbow of gorgeous colors. Love LOVE this place. I always feel so welcome every time I come. The staff always goes above and beyond to help me find what I need. It's my favorite yarn shop ever!
I have recently moved to the Phoenix area and I was struggling with a project so I stopped in to see if I could get some advice. Not only did I get a warm welcome, a tour of the shop and help with my project, my two year old grandson was also treated with warmth and a welcome smile, he even got a cookie! Thank you so much for making me feel welcome!
Lovely store! I appreciated the items marked "Local" as I was visiting from out of state and that's what I look for when visiting a LYS! I went home with some beautiful AZ souvenirs!
