This is simply the best yarn shop anywhere. My personal experience is 100% positive, but it's even cooler to tell other people's stories, I think. I can't even remember just how many people have come in saying that they're traveling from out of state (even out of the country) and they just had to stop in at Tempe Yarn at least once during their trip because while they have yarn shops at home, they have nothing like this place. It's more than a yarn shop, it's a community, and the people here are simply the best.
Not impressed. The yarn there may be warm, but the reception wasn't. When I visited the store with a clearly marked, well-behaved service animal, a staff member was frosty and made us feel extremely unwelcome. A huge disappointment in a city that is usually very receptive and tolerant.
Too fun. Love this place.
