Lovely studio space Decent variety of yarn and roving. Open friendly atmosphere- they have potlucks and tea parties. I felt very much at home here! In addition to a wide variety of newer yarn types (bamboo etc) they will happily order specially for you, which is really nice. If you are a beginner knitter/crocheter they have classes and knitalongs.
Only for knitters If you're a knitter then this place probably has the largest variety of yarns you'll find anywhere around. But I went there looking for needlepoint yarn -- they seemed to think that was a strange request, as if they'd never heard of such a thing.
Very good for all skill levels If you are looking for cheap knitting supplies- yarn, needles, etc.- you should look elsewhere. This is not to say that they overcharge, but rather that they do not carry inferior products. (No acrylic "yarn by the pound" or plastic needles). The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help you, but be prepared for an occasionally quirky sense of humor. Perfect place If you are looking for unique yarn place , don't even loose your time going to a big store, just drive to Tempe Yarn and Fiber and you will be amazed how cool their products are. Huge selection and very cool stuff.
Ms Have had dealings with this store via a gift for a class. There was a misunderstanding and the store did not take the high road or opt for good customer service. Thus said I would steer away from this store at all costs if you want someone who really cares about your business. In this day and age it is about good customer service which in turn promotes loyal customers.
A great place to learn and grow A warm and friendly shop with a large variety of classes from learning to knit and crochet to spinning, weaving, yoga and so much more. The shop offers a great studio space to come in a simply sit with a cup of tea or coffee and work on a project. I especially like the fact that they are willing to fix my mistakes in my project and I can get back to work again.
Great Shop !!!! Great shop with knowledgeable staff and excellent customer service. If they do not have what you are looking for, which would surprise me with the amazing selection they have, they can usually tell you where to find it. Grab some lunch and a project, come to the shop and have a seat at one of the tables and enjoy the afternoon. They also offer coffee and hot teas with no charge...... What a place !!!!
Great shop I love this place - I wish it were closer to my house. Very kid-friendly. In fact, they even took out blocks for my kids to play with while I shopped. I have found yarn here that I haven't anywhere else. The staff is friendly & helpful. They keep your purchases on file in the computer, which was helpful when I didn't have the label from a ball of yarn I bought, and needed another one. Yarn in many price ranges. RecommendedI love this store especially the staff. They are very knowledgeable and always helpful. The store is neat & clean and the yarns are beautifully displayed. They also have a wonderful selection of locally dyed yarns. Everything you need for your project you can find it here.
