Went in to purchase a used vehicle. The deal was that they would repair a few items plus lowered the price enough for me to have my mechanic fix the approximate 2K in repairs. I agreed and returned later to purchase the vehicle. When I arrived, they gave me the run around for 1 1/2 hours. Then the sales manager *** came with his little price sheet and informed me that they could not give me the prior deal. It was now 2K more with no repairs, "Take it or leave it." On Jul 31, 2023, We signed a Tacoma and completed a contract for $36,442 with a payment of 608.05. The dealership told me and my dad to come back tomorrow because they have to transport a truck from San Diego. I bought a Hybrid Camry last December of 2022. It's almost June now and I haven't receive the spare copy of my Camry they promised. They always make supply chain as the problem. But I noticed most major retailers like Walmart, Target or online retailer like Amazon already was enjoying the regularity of the products they sell mostly coming from China. I went 3 times for a advertised suv where I could trade my paid off 2017 car and pay a difference without a car note. Each time the car was supposedly gone. Each time o was basically begged to look at others and the 3rd time I was somehow talked into a friken car note even after telling them I am retired and on a tight budget. The whole reason for a suv was for knee pain. My sedan was painful to drive a suv was pain free I also have a aortic aneurysm and awaiting open heart surgery. My wife had her 2018 Camry service for an oil change and safety recall. She received a text message for recommendation after inspecting the vehicle to replace the brake pads, air filter and O2 sensor which the wires were chewed out by rodent. I told her to opt out on replacing the brake pads and filter which I can do it myself, she went ahead and have them replaced the O2 sensor. Guest was satisfied with the explanation given about labor charge. 1 hr was charged for installing the part and 1 hour was charged to inspect the vehicle for any further rodent damage. The guest claims that the 2nd hr was clearly explained at the time of service but now understands the charge.

The last couple of visits that I made to Temecula Valley Toyota get service on my 2011 Toyota Camry. They are always stating that more is wrong with my car than it really is. For example, they told me that I needed to replace both the battery cables and that it would cost approximately $1,000.00 for the cost and labor. I took my car to another mechanic shop and they told me that I did not need to replace the battery cables that they were both fine.
