I want to start off by saying that Im more ****** off at me than anyone else for not catching the dishonesty that I eventually discovered. Its more my fault; I know that even writing this it will not solve anything other than giving the heads up to other car buyers.I ended choosing Hyundai because of the warranty and Ive heard good things about their cars. Wish I can leave negative, but it doesnt allow that. My experience is very bad. Bought a car two months in need to replace the transmission. They dont wanna help me out. They dont wanna take the car look at the car or anything, but I still Im obligated to pay $17,000

I met with the salesman and his manager. We agreed on a price and I agreed to make the purchase. I was running out of time so I agreed to come back the next morning. When I met with the financial manager, he went over the sale. There were 40-50 pages to review. He quickly went over each page by using a highlighter and asked for my signature on many pages. Took my Tucson in for a engine code. End up replacing turbo in it. $3000 And 11 days later, I get my car back and they had wrecked it on their property. Will not own up to it. Telling they couldn't even find my car on camera and the mechanic didn't report any damage. Got pictures before it was taking to them and after. Ask they told me was that it was in their service contract that they are not responsible for any damage while on their property. I am leaving a review here because I feel that now a days people only review things they are disappointed in and I want to try to change that. I have been taking my cars to this location since about 2019. They have all been used Hyundai vehicles purchased at alternate locations. I had an amazing experience with my first two cars that I took there. In 2023 my 2nd car that I took to them was covered under the campaign to replace faulty engines. April 2024- Took Car in to get serviced due to engine problems car still covered under warranty service advisor stated you are going to need engine but didnt replace. The stole March 2025- Now the engine is knocking louder than the police knocking on your door, The engine stalled out. Okay fine I get it towed on my own dime ($300). Oops what happened to the 24/7 Roadside Assistance lifetime warranty. Turns out engine needed to be replaced okay fine HYUNDAI warranty covered that. Do NOT bring cash to purchase a car at San Leandro Hyundai. We were swayed by a $500. Rebate if we took out a loan; it made financial sense to do it for $3000 and pay it off in 3 months. $6835.73 in cash was handed over for full payment. When we got our first loan payment our balance was $9835.73 not the $3000 we expected. My husband began a conversation with a salesman, **** ******, via text on August 4th about the possibility of purchasing a Santa Fe. **** confirmed to my husband that the vehicle they were discussing HAD a wifi hotspot. I bought a 2017 ***** Ram 2500, the transmission broke after 15 days, but it was in the dealership's mechanic's office three times, and each time I took it, it stayed there one more time.
