I had the pleasure of planning and attending a provider fair at Telos U in Orem on March 20th, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. London Jacobs was wonderful to work with. Her professionalism, knowledge of mental health, and familiarity with the local community truly elevated the event. When we found Telos, we were exhausted and overwhelmed. Our son had been through 3 programs in 18 months—two asked him to leave because they couldn’t meet his needs. My son was in residential treatment for 94 days. When he admitted he felt hopeless and did not see a path forward. He felt like his future was bleak. He still has aways to go, but since his discharge he enrolled in an accounting certification program and feels optimistic about his future. We had a great experience at Telos, as a family. From the beginning of the process until our son completed the program Telos was involved every step. Although not everything was perfect, this is to be expected as residential treatment is a long and complicated experience for all involved. We are grateful to Telos and although I doubt any of the students are happy to be there, having them was an option was exactly what our family needed at the time. Arthur was the perfect counselor for our son so a special thank you to him.
