Someone that I love was a student at Telos while she was a student she learned a lot but there were definitely things that were really hard. But some of the staff made it worth but others made her cry. Telos was safe place for her for a little bit but once she wasn’t a student. She was treated very poorly and it became a place of fear and anxiety. And it really hurt her knowing that’s once you’re not a student you are basically nothing to them. Would rate 0 if I could. Staff were incredibly disrespectful towards guests and treated everyone “below” them like scum on their shoe. I was also repeatedly sexually assaulted by other students and was often punished for it the same amount as the offenders. Higher up staff never did anything about the incidents and I was repeatedly told I was not allowed to talk about it. I wish I could rate this 0 but unfortunately that’s not an option. My best friend was sent here and spent a year and a half in the facility. While there he was denied medical attention for his knee injury and was forced to use it and made it worse. Not only did he get medically neglected he also was physically and mentally neglected by staff there and sexually assaulted by more than one other “student” there.
