avoid – I went in to get my hearing checked. I thought the audiologist was very professional and knew what she was talking about. When I had to go in for a check with the doctor, he concentrated on my nose. He wanted me to get a CAT scan and look into surgery on my nose. From there, everything related to my "deviated septum" without asking any other history on things. My allergist confirmed to me at my next appointment that it was not a problem in need of surgery. Dr. Tamez – I've only seen him once and what I could see he is very prof. and kind, The price seems to be fine and his staff is also good, However he needs to up date his phone # on the web it is now :(512-255-8070). I'll be seeing him again soon, More later...........,, I'm back, well now he wants 75 up front, well we have good ins. I am gona look for another that want worry about my ins not paying but I will keep him in mind, I'll be back.....
Avoid if you can. – My husband took my son to his first appointment today. He arrived at 7:20am, his appointment was scheduled for 7:30am. Dr Tamez walks into the examination room at 8:30am. No apology, no excuse, nothing. He asks how they are and my husband said "we have been waiting for the past hour -our apt time was picked specifically for 7:30am because it's the first of the day". Dr. Tamez replied "You can get your co pay back, Good Bye". Wow -We've never experienced such unprofessional behaviour -ever.
Very expensive post op care. – Be warned. Post op visits are VERY expensive. I had a septoplasty and other repairs done to my nose that were blocking off my sinus. I had two surgeries three weeks apart at day surgery and each required several visits for follow up on healing, four of which were to remove packing (so I was told when told to make another appt). The day before each follow up, I would find out I was scheduled for an endoscopy (an in office surgical procedure) and even with insurance, I was required to pay $78.00 ... read more
