I had an initial consultation with Dr. Teitelbaum and found him to be knowledgeable and conservative in his medical approach. I am grateful that I saw him and feel comfortable with the course of treatment prescribed.
I have severe sleep apnea. I was unable to tolerate a CPAP mask. I was referred to Dr. Teitelbaum for a review of alternatives. He felt that I would benefit from throat and sinus surgery and would not need a CPAP. His surgical skills are well know. His pre-surgery and post surgery staff are excellent. I knew exactly what to expect before and after. I have had less pain and discomfort post surgery than expected. Dr Teitelbaum surrounds himself, Amanda, Gail, Tina with quality professionals. 5 STAR review should be 10.
I was referred to an associate but was rescheduled with him and my appointment went well. I was able to figure out an issue that was troubling me. I'm pleased because it didn't take several visits to conclude with results. Only 2 visits.
My wife’s experience at the hands of Dr Teitelbaum is to complex to fully describe in 500 words. Heres the sequence. Her initial issue was a feeling of fluid in the ear. This resulted in a botched surgery he admitted was a mistake. He finally referred us to the House Ear Clinic where she required two more surgeries. Net result: loss of hearing, and a life of intense discomfort when no surgery was needed. Dr Teitelbaum is a self centered, ego driven man who should not be allowed to practice.
Poor people skills, was in a hurry and didn't care to listen to what I had to say. He was not very friendly or a people person. I refuse to see him again.
I accompanied my elderly father to an appointment with Dr. Teitelbaum and was so displeased with the care he provided. He was rude, abrupt, and dismissive to my father. He displayed zero compassion and concern for what my dad had been experiencing, his fears, and questions.
Long story short - I used to have high blood pressure and extreme sleep apnea dropping as low as 38-42% oxygen and BP of over 190/120. After surgery I am now at above 85% oxygen and my blood pressure is already lower and generally at 130/80 and will be revisiting my heart doctor and he stated I will most likely be getting off of those medications soon. I went from ER on the verge of a stroke, to a heart doctor, then to Dr. Teitelbaum, whom quite possibly saved my life! Thank you Dr. Teitelbaum!!
Such a rude physician, he barreled into the office like a bull in a china shop. He was condescending, I must have repeated myself at one point and he said "Yah, I know, you said that already." He was very rough, he hurt my throat when doing an examination. He had me look up while he held my tongue and pushed on my throat. When he saw me grimace, he said he was sorry. I will not be back nor will I refer him.
Careless doctor Unable to do biopsies correctly Unable to diagnose. After tumor grew large enough and invaded my entire nose and oral cavity, he transferred me to Stanford university.
