Teezerz is wonderful! Two thumbs way up!! I meant to review it sooner but have been traveling. I was looking around for a good salon and asked some of my co-workers where they went ( as i am from out of town) and all of them said Teezerz. From the moment I entered and was warmly greeted by Amanda I knew I chose the right place. She gave me a tour of the facilities and even offered me a drink while i waitied. My hairdresser Taryn was young and talented and gave me a great cut! Best salon around... hands down!
Sales tactics a real turnoff My experience at the salon was ruined due to the hard sell for add on services and hair care products. It was so bad that I was feeling pressured and the hair stylist seemed desparate to get the sale. Later I learned that the stylists get paid more (and promoted) based on how much they sell in product. Even after I said, "no thanks", I was still pressured and will NEVER go back to this salon again. The worst. Tabatha wouldn't touch it Nobody hung up my coat or offered a beverage. In fact, the receptionist pointed me to the coat closet and said 'you can hang up your coat here' The haircut is horrible- I agree with the reviewer below. They seem young and immature who do not keep up with the lates styling techniques. They also push their products on you. don't go on a saturday I made the mistake of going on a Saturday. I asked them for when they had time in their schedule to cut my long curly hair. However, my stylist was so busy she kept going back and forth between me and another lady. I asked her to trim 4" off my hair and then add more layers. She just trimmed it and kept the same style. An Outstanding Experience! I just moved to Bayonne and was actively seeking a hair salon. Everyone, I mean everyone, that I asked(being very particular I only asked people with great style/color) recommended Teezers Salon. I was not disappointed. The place was beautiful, the service was top notch, I received the best color of my life and my stylist, Taryn, listened to me when I told her to follow my last haircut(it actually looks and feels better than my last haircut). Don't be fooled by appearances I chose Teezers for its sleek modern look and on the assumption that the owner would place as much emphasis on staff training as on putting forth a professional, state of the art, look. I visited twice. The first time the stylist couldn't cut a straight line or shape a style. She also made an inappropriate comment about my dry scalp . Treated with kid gloves I went to this salon out of desperation. I had purchased a color remover for my jet black long curly hair, which had left it orange and breaking off. I called Teezers on the Monday before fourth of July, and Susan the receptionist had empathy and booked me that very day. best salon ever!!! Teezerz is the best salon! I've been going to Teezerz for years and they do an amazing job! The girls are friendly and very professional. i would NEVER go anywhere else. My hair color and style always looks amazing and i get tons of compliments everywhere i go! I highly recommend this salon. Keep up the fabulous work!!!!
The Best I have never had a "bad" haircut here. All of the technicians are highly qualified in hair styling and coloring. The salon is gorgeous - right out of NYC. The entire staff is friendly and always make you feel at home.
