I urge anyone considering Teeth-R-Us at 213 Front Street in Hempstead to get the insurance determination, treatment plan, and full cost breakdown in writing before agreeing to financing. Teeth-R-Us had my Healthfirst information on file. Staff told me verbally that my insurance would approve only a metal crown for tooth #3 and described a zirconia crown as the better option. I was using this dentist because it was convenient and accepted my insurance. However, every time I went, they had a hard time honoring appointments; I would be sitting there for hours before being seen by the dental hygienist, and then it was a while longer before seeing the actual dentist. My time is valuable, and I couldn't waste my time sitting in the dentist office. The last time I was at this dentist they apprised me that I had 6 cavities.
