I’m writing this review to share my deeply concerning experience with Family Therapy of Silicon Valley and hope it provides clarity for others seeking ethical and professional care. I attended a family therapy session facilitated by one of their therapists, and unfortunately, the session raised significant ethical and privacy concerns. Teen Therapy Center offers the much needed services to the parents and teens in the community. They have also recognized the need for in home therapy services which in really benefits some patient and their families. They have really qualified and experienced therapists that meet their clients where they are and make a difference! Their therapists do a great job in collaborating and sharing their work with me and other providers. So, I refer many of my teens to them and would highly recommend them!
I continue to be more impressed with this team at each encounter I have with them! Their unique, untraditional model helps to support adolescents & their families both inside and outside of the clinical setting. We’ve been using the services at Teen Therapy Center for nearly a year, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care my son has received. Both the nurse practitioner and therapist have been instrumental in his progress. The therapist, in particular, worked with my son on navigating some challenging issues, including ADHD, anxiety, and the emotional impact of his parents’ recent separation. We were with them over 3 years and they refused to provide medical records. Check out my complaint on the BBB with their damning non answer. Please parents stay far away. Extremely unprofessional. Just ask for your medical records and see what happens. This after they make us bill the insurance. Just bad.
