Besides steak there are delicious crab cakes, meatloaf, cedar plank salmon, burgers and lots more to dig into. Join Ted's Montana Grill Atlanta - Midtown, to relish preparations made from meticulously procured ingredients, which is evident from their taste and aroma. A chic place for people who believe in style, elegance and tradition.

Yummy Buffalo Burgers! I had never eaten buffalo before. And after eating it there, I fell in love with it. The cucumbers they serve as an appetizer are tasty and they have the best creamed spinach I have tasted in Atlanta.

Good but not extraordinary – We've been to the new Ted's Montana Grill at Avenue Forsyth shopping center three times now. Overall it is good, but nothing to rave about. I've also dined at the Ted's at the Forum on Peachtree Parkway. For the Forsyth location, expect a long wait unless you arrive by 6pm even on a weeknight, as the place is not that big plus proximity to AMC theaters next door and their patrons. The way to go at Ted's is the bison burger which is served with homecut fries. I have also had the bison potroast, which is good but the portions are skimpy. On one visit I had a bison steak, also good but on the small side and pricey. My primary complaint with Ted's is that it seems like that consistently the service has been spotty and slow, and the food always lukewarm (other than the burgers). When we visited last night, it took forever for salads to come out, then another long wait for the entrees which again were lukewarm. Maybe our server was overwhelmed but I would expect better service. It is a unique place and worth visiting, just don't set the bar too high.

The Best Burger's I Have Ever Had – My first experience at Ted's was simply the best I could ask for. When I entered I was welcomed not by the hostess saying smoking or non or how many but "welcome to Ted's". When I sat in the booth I noticed the recycled paper on the table and inquired about this and was told that Ted's actually won the "green award" for doing the most recycling in the entire resturant industry. That amazed me! However this is about the burgers so I ordered a Bison Montana Burger medium and fries. I had never had bison before and I was taken back by how great this burger actually was. It was cooked right, it came to my table hot and it was juicy and very flavourful. I was thinking it would be gamey tasting, but it wasn't at all. After i asked about how this was accomplished, the manager told me some things that I did not expect to hear. He told me that the meat was never frozen; it was ground in house 2 or more times daily, formed to order and nothing about it was not fresh. I know from experience that not many places if any can say this. This was a truly splended experience, and I have recently sworn off beef burgers. No joke I have since dined at Ted's at least 4 times a week and i have almost tried every variety of burger they have. Everybody should try these bison burgers at least once.

Families and large groups feast on hearty cuts and comfort food at this Rocky-Mountain style steakhouse. – In Short Lots of mahogany, tin ceilings, metal crown molding and Arts and Crafts-style décor prevail at this casual, comfortable saloon, part of media mogul Ted Turner's domain. Beef and bison are king, and they're hand-cut on site. Other bites include beer-can chicken, bison prime rib and cedar planked salmon. For dessert, there's home-made cookies, Kahlua fudge brownies, Coke floats and strawberry shortcake.

It was okay – My dining experience was so-so. We were seated right away at a booth, which was comfortable. The staff was courteous and friendly. No complaints there. My husband liked the pickles and they offered to let us taste the meatloaf and bison roast and potatoes which was good. They also have really good yeast rolls but you have to ask for them. I ordered a beef burger and I didn't like it. I don't think it was anything they did, I just don't think it was my type of burger. I had only a few bites. The onion rings were okay, not great. My husband ordered the chopped steak which was the special for the day. He wished he had ordered the bison potroast that we sampled. All and all it was a pleasant dining experience, I just wasn't thrilled enough with the food to return.

Really disappointing experience – We were excited at the prospect of eating at Ted Turner's signature restaurant and were expecting a strong competitor to Mortons. We were disappointed and frankly surprised by the meal/experience. While the staff was super friendly... (we ate at the bar)...The food took a really long time and it was only after we enquired about its where-abouts that the bar tender said.. oh let me check and then arrived back with a plate that was clearly sitting for a while and was getting cold. During the long wait, we were told seperately that the baked potato was off, and then the subsitute sweet potato went AWOL, so when we opted for the mashed potatos, we were not feeling very confident. They did arrive with the cooling steak. The steak was very good however but did not merit the $30+ price tag considering the overall 'packaging' it arrived in i.e. the ambience/experience etc. At the bar we were also distracted by the bartender preparing food with his hands (no gloves) and then handling money and cash register transactions along with the other bar tasks he needed to perform. We remarked to each other that we would NOT be ordering the strawberry shortcake.... still not sure where he was ladeling the red sauce from... The interiors and detailing of Ted's restaurant were of a really high standard --- beautiful and expensive. I believe the original intent from the launch was to be a premier steak house but it has clearly taken a nose dive -- behind the bar seemed dirty and peering into the kitchen did not inspire confidence. The staff while really friendly appeared slovenly dressed and not really trained to deliver a tip top dining experience. Word to Ted/management; close down, rehire, retool, and get back in there. The Ted T brand brought us there but I can't believe this is the vision he had in mind. We ate at Morton's a week later -- excellent Apologies if we are harsh in our comments -- hoping we can improve the business by sharing our thoughts T+D

Great food! – 1st time dining at Teds, Cumberland Mall. The service was friendly, food was impeccably delightful, and atmosphere was comfortable. The wait staff smiled and they were very attentive to my needs as a customer. Very professional and every was well groomed.

Lack of flavor – Went for the first time with family from out of town. The bison steak had very little flavor to it -- same with bison burger. Best meal was the salmon on the kids menu. Restaurant is overrated and we were all disappointed. Although the food wasn't great, the service was very good.

Good or bad – If the server can get your order right, then the food is really good - bison burgers are mighty tasty. Only problem is that every other time I've been, my order has been wrong.
