Real good! – Been there a couple times now, and the chili is some of the best Ive eve had. Their bison burger is so good, its rates with one of the best possible burgers in Columbus. The decor is outstanding...tons of wood, tall tin ceilings...really cool. Prices are a little high, and this is another Arena District restaurant, so parking can be an issue. Also, make a note...if it is a Clipper home game, change your plans, other than that, a real good place. we shall return.
Meatloaf sandwich so great, and that sauce! – They've got this buffalo meatloaf sandwich with cheese and this awesome sauce that I was just crazy for! My kids are even trying new things here, that just does not happen!
Different and yummy. – I went in with my roommate and ordered 2 burgers to go. One for me, and one for my hubby. My roommate and I had a drink while we waited. Not too long of a wait. We sat at the bar so, we could actually see the cooks and they were moving pretty fast considering it was almost closing time. Ted's (Where's the beef?) – Visited a few times because it was near work. Never found it outstanding! 1st time was greeted by the server with "Welcome to Ted's...you're about to experience something special." Talk about creating unreasonable expectations? The last experience was a BLUE PLATE pork chop lunch special. Dry, undersized, and piled on mashed potatoes...totally bland, uninspired, and overpriced (11.99$.) Love it! – Great Bison, planked salmon is fantastic (with the best horseradish sauce ever). They do have a strange salad, nice greens with a burger on top -- that was strange. BUT great service, wonderful atmosphere and fast to seat you. Onion rings are great, they make these fries with chili and cheese that are equally delish. I wouldn't go there for a steak…. the specialize in buffalo for cryin' out loud!
Always great – I love a good hamburger & they have great ones. The meatloaf is delicious & super moist. My husband loves the bison burgers , which just aren't for me.
You should give it a try – It IS a little on the pricy side, but understandably so because bison is not cheap. Kids actually like it. They have a small, yet nice lunch menu for $8.00 (without drink, tax and tip of course). Portions are on the small side if you have a big appetite like my husband! Underwhelmed – Food was OK, but pricey. Dining area was cramped, felt like a fast food restaurant attempting to pass as find dining. Wait staff was slow and inattentive. If every other place downtown is over a half hour wait, then a guess I would settle for this place.
Very Good – Last night I brought my wife, son and daughter here for dinner. The place was decently busy and we were seated right away. For an appetizer we got the Bison Nachos which were really good, my son loved them and polished off the whole plate. For my entrée I had the bison meatloaf that was cooked to perfection with garlic mashed potatoes and squash casserole which were both also good. My wife got the crab cakes with asparagus and cole slaw. She loved her crab cakes and claimed they were the best she's had in awhile.... read more
