I arrived yesterday around 6:00pm and sat at the counter, the older woman working didn’t acknowledge me, but made sure she was busy cleaning the counter and tables. Then she apparently took her break and sat down to eat. After about 10 minutes, the younger girl came over to me and I ordered right away. I think the first thing a restaurant should do is acknowledge the customer, even if you are cleaning tables or going on break, at least let the customer know you see them, we are the ones paying. I want to give my review as to help, not hate. Service was great and everyone were friendly and welcoming. Sadly, the food we ordered was flavorless; literally. I don't typically use salt when I don't need to; and I needed to just accommodate taste buds, which are not numb as we have never smoked. I had coffee (thought my first sip: were they short on coffee beans?!?), Famers breakfast (vegetable omelette, O'Brien potatoes, and toast-which sadly was the highlight of the meal). The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. The service was great, the food was very good. We enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend as well as return.
