I had heard the customer service at Teatro Verde could be unpleasant, but yesterday’s experience was honestly bizarre. My husband, my two teenage children, and I went in looking for a gift for a close friend. Within minutes, a creepy older woman working there began following us around the store from only a few feet away the entire time. I used to love this store for its unique items and would stop in whenever I was in Yorkville. Unfortunately, the service—specifically from the white gentleman who appears to be the owner—has been consistently unacceptable. On multiple occasions, he has been rude, dismissive, and outright disrespectful. During one visit, I came in intending to buy gifts.
