RecommendedI followed owner, Sara when she opened Teal Flamingo. I love her style and the awesome environment she created! I've gone to several stylists at Teal for cuts and they are all wonderful. And a special acknowledgement to Phoenix for giving me the best perms! People are convinced I have naturally curly hair. :) The store is great, too. I think I buy a pair of earrings (or two) each time I visit.
I have lived in PDX for 10 years and searched and searched for a GREAT stylist I could stick with. Some light was shed on my search when I was recommended to go to Teal Flamingo by a friend. Nearly two years have passed and I’m in looove!!!! Amy and Alexis have made me very happy! Can’t wait to return post quarantine!
Alexis and Carmen have both cut my hair and they are both fabulous at short cuts!! I have at least 15 cowlicks but I always walk away with a great pixie cut! I am sooo looking forward to the day I can get a cut and color again! It's also a great spot to pick up a cute little plant or an entire outfit!😀
💖 I absolutely love Teal Flamingo!!! I usually see Stephanyia when I get my hair cut and colored. However, all the staff that work there are very experienced, professional and super friendly. Also, they have great clothing and accessories. It is a definite win-win situation.
Absolutely the best with curly hair in the coolest and most welcoming environment around. Always a wonderful experience with the awesomest staff ever and so many amazing things to buy in the shop too!
I love Teal Flamingo! Definitely one of my favorite spots in Portland! Stephanya cuts my hair on the regular and I call her “the Magician.” I get compliments all the time and her cuts age like fine wine! The stylists are super friendly and creative. And the shop! Sara has an eye for curating the best and cutest and the vibe is always chill, fun and warm. No pretentious attitudes here! I’m always stopping by to say hi and check out the racks! ❤️
I love Phoenix at Teal Flamingo. I moved to Texas and before I left I was teasing her that I would have to fly back just for her cut! She is a lovely person and very skilled. Highly recommend.
I have been going to Teal Flamingo for a few years now and have always loved my cuts. My go to stylist is Stephanya, who keeps my short hair beautifully blonde (sometimes pink, purple, etc) and ROCKS the short haircuts. Plus, she's an absolute blast to talk travel with. Add in the fun shopping that can be done while you're waiting for your hair to process and it's an all around luxurious afternoon experience!
I have been going to Phoenix I believe over 2 years now! I have never been disappointed and love the vibe! Sara (owner) totally rocks and she treats her employees wonderfully. The prices are great, and if want exceptional hair color done, TEAL FLAMINGO is the place to go!
