I gave birth to 2 children at TBH in 1994 and 2003! I was pleased with the care and treatment during those births. I became pregnant 2017 and my care was transferred from my private clinic to the high risk clinic at TBH. This has been thee worst experience ever!! The doctors are attentive and kind, but the support staff and staff in clinics all deserve to be FIRED!!!! This has got to be the worst hospital I have ever experienced my daughter was brought in on emergency they allow her to be in pain for four hours before deciding she needed emergency surgery on her ovaries at 23... living 900 mile away in Atlanta is killing me trying to get information... she was out of surgery at 10:30 pm last night and did not get a room until 8 pm the next day... she doesn’t know who her doctor is what the recovery what they next step.... so I decided to call the nurses station to get information... the f... read more
I went to the emergency room for persistent coughing and pain in my chest. They tell me I have pneumonia and that they will give me medication and to go home. What hospital sends you home after telling you have pneumonia smh the worst hospital ever.
Disgusting facilities, appalling smells, garbage everywhere. They picked the rudest, meanest, and most uneducated staff in the entire Tri-State area. Probably all graduated the bottom third of their class and no other facility wanted them.
The wait to see your Dr. Is at least 2 hours long even if you have an appointment. I'm waiting here for 2 1/2 hours now to see my Dr. It gets worst every time I come. Time to switch hospitals.
Worst experience ever. Brought in my diabetic boyfriend to the ER with DKA. For hours no insulin was given. They let him run out of fluids. I had to be after nurses and doctors constantly to have them give him his much needed insulin. Observation nurse didn't care and took about an hour to get first insulin after FINALLY ordered from a doctor. 3 hours in "Oh, he is on DKA! Oh yes, he needs insulin!" I went here with my boyfriend and the nurses tried to sex him making jokes and playing with extra attention. There was a nurse really disrespecting patients trying do too much freaky business she lost a patients blood and lost another patient test results. DONT GO TO BROOKLYN HOSPITAL ITS THE WORSE AND UNRELIABLE.
