I originally contacted Ohio Chimney through their BBB Accreditation listing. They sent out a person to investigate the job within 2 days. When I hadn't heard from them following that for over a week, I was concerned that they weren't going to show up to do the job, so I called and inquired if they were going to do the job. I had them out after I had a chimney fire!They tore the chimney down to the roofline and rebuilt that part and cleared everything out of the lower part! They installed a new woodburning stove in the basement and a new fireplace in the living room! They did a very good job and I would recommend them for repairs,inspections or cleaning!

The fire brick in my fireplace was cracked and unsafe to use. I decided to get an propane fireplace. Ohio Chimney demo my outside chimney and installed a propane fireplace and vented through the wall. They did an excellent job and they were very careful and neat. thanks for the great work!
Scammed me out of $350 to tell me my chimney was "unsafe to use". Did nothing more than shine a flashlight up it for 30 seconds and hand me a bill. Got a second professional opinion weeks later and the other guy told me, and I quote, "whoever told you that was full of ****."
This company is great! I had a very unusual problem with a fireplace and no one could figure out what the problem was until I called Ohio Chimney. Not only did they diagnose the problem, they repaired it beautifully. Then they told me exactly what I needed to do to repair other parts beyond the fireplace. They were very knowledgeable and helpful and I couldnt be more pleased.
Ohio Chimney Co. Did a great job on our chimney repairs. We had water leaking in through our fireplace and in searching online for a good company found that Ohio Chimney ** was the only local company with the certifications and experience. After an initial inspection and a few followup visits it was determined a lot of work would need done to the stack in order to put a stop to any future water damage. Ohio Chimney Co. charged me $90 to come quote my damaged chase. Over 2 weeks has passed, with multiple calls to check the status of my quote all I’ve received is a “we haven’t forgotten about you”. Since Ohio Chimney Co. has come out, I’ve had 3 other companies come look at the damage and quote the repairs needed. All 3 companies took under a week to submit their quotes.
