I would never recommend that someone buy a home from Taylor Morrison. From the loan approval process to submitting warranty claims, everything in the time I have been buying and living in this home has been disorganized and a complete hassle. This company tried to sue the home inspector for pointing out the various major flaws common in Taylor Morrison built homes.
Poor build quality and they tried to sue third-party home inspectors. Whoever is reading this comment, please please please hire a third-party home inspector and do not go with the home inspector that Taylor Morrison recommends.
My wife and I went under contract with Taylor Morrison in Castle Pines, CO. We thought we had found our dream home and we were so excited. Little did we know the hell we would be going through by working with this company, who calls themselves "America's Most Trusted Builder". We made the mistake of buying from these yahoos in Jan of 24. We're in Colorado and purchased their Vail model. Sadly their plans were faulty and everyone on our street with this model has uneven floors up-stairs. We quickly submitted two large warranty items. Now over a year later they have yet to make any progress on either item.
