I’ve been going to Don for around 3 years now and honestly couldn’t ask for a better barber. Super professional, consistent, and always pays attention to details. Every cut comes out exactly how I want it. On top of that, Don is just a genuinely great person - friendly, welcoming, and makes every appointment comfortable. You can tell he really cares about his clients and takes pride in his work. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a barber they can trust long term.

Ive been getting a haircut from Don since I moved to Toronto 2 years ago. he will spend extra time with you to make sure you’re happy and everything is perfect. i usually go in the evening, and not once has he rushed the job or rushed me. It’s always great to see him and i am very happy with this place and his service.

Edit on April 4, 2026: The owner was kind enough to acknowledge my complaint and reverted the extra money back to me. Thank you. I usually have a very good experience here, and have been a regular for the past year. But today, when I tried getting a basic hair cut from a member (he identified himself as French) of their team I've never cut with before, I was sorely disappointed. This is the worst experience I have had in a long time. My usual barber was on a trip so I booked some guy named Don here I think. I came in asking for a low fade on the sides and a beard lineup with a knife. He later proceeded to give me a mid-high fade on the sides and when I said something, he literally raised his voice in my ear and said “I have been cutting for 22 years and am following your hair because it’s too short”. Don at Taylor & Colt always does a fantastic job with my hair. He is very thorough, and will go back and retry things if he doesn’t feel it’s perfect (which it usually is on the first try) or try any new things that I ask for. Very satisfied with his service!
