RecommendedMy family came into Hood River for just one night; right before we got to town my check engine light came on. The hotel concierge called around and found Taylor Automotive. We went to the shop to have them run a diagnostic check, and they went above and beyond to help! Knowing we were only in town for the night, they did their best to make sure we’d get home safely and advised me on what to discuss with my regular mechanic. They were a total blessing. I'm only 19 years old and I've gone through three daily drivers and with every one I've taken it to Taylor Automotive. These guys really are the best, most trustworthy mechanics around, and I would, without a doubt, recommend them to anybody looking for quick, honest repair at a pretty good price. I've visited Taylor Automotive in Hood River several times over the years. Each time I interact with them I am more impressed. They are knowledgeable, thoughtful, have good judgement, and really seem to have their customer's interests in mind. More than once, they have happily sent me on my way with advice or info that prevented the need for them to do any work. There are a lot of good people and good businesses in Hood River, and Taylor Automotive stands out among them.
