All the workers in this office were fantastic (Ashley was outstanding) with the exception of Dr. Johnson!! His bedside manner was know-it-all, mansplaining simple concepts and issues to the point of condescension. Along with that he openly criticized my previous dental office who for years took excellent care of my entire family's teeth without ever wavering from their consistently kind, knowledgeable, and genuine care. I don't know how to put into words how THANKFUL we are!!! EVERYONE at Tawas Bay Dental was so kind, thoughtful and supportive of what we were going through! They took my husband in on an emergency basis, did what could have been a horrific procedure - but he came out on the positive side. He is healing very well and all due to the wonderful Dr. Johnson and the incredible kindness and professionalism of the staff! I feel so very fortunate to have made the emergency call while on vacation. THANK YOU to everyone there!!!
My family an I started going here when I was 12 maybe younger. They treat you with so much respect, they never pass any judgment on you or the condition of your teeth. The nurses are stupendous amazing caring women very educated in there field always to put a smile on your face. Lynn at the front desk is so helpful has a lot of knowledge of how everything works and cost. For instance what's covered or not with your insurance, your final costs, that way you know what you will be paying. We've never had to do the guessing game... read more
