My girlfriend and I went for dinner on Valentine's day weekend. Great atmosphere, great service, and even better food! I highly recommend Tavernakaya to anyone looking for an enjoyable downtown dining experience!
Do not hesitate to experience this restaurant. The staff is extremely helpful and they know what to suggest based on the experience you want. Fantastic all around.

Atmosphere was on point! Madison needed a place like this, I felt like I was in Seattle ! Don't even get me started on the Service.... The nicest people ever! Thanks Justin aka best bartender ever!!! Oh and the food.... I'm coming back for seconds, delicious!
If you like Umami on Willy Street you will love this Capitol Square restaurant. Nueske bacon fried rice was awesome Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant.
Love the atmosphere and the food is to die for. Will definitely be a regular at this establishment, and fortunately for me, I live within walking distance!
