I was referred here by another restaurant in town that I was planning to eat at and was completely booked. This gem has a great location, good atmosphere and uses fresh ingredients for all of their dishes. It was my bday and one owners, Bobbie, came over to make sure everything was great and wish me a Happy Birthday. He made the desserts...We had the bread pudding and flouress chocolate cake. Get Both!!! You won't be disappointed. I will be back next week to try more of your amazing dishes. Thank you.
Tavern West is a delightful addition to the Frisco dining scene. Excellent presentation of great food. Double pork chop is generous and delicious. Tater tot appetizer is a large portion that can be shared. Beet and pear salad was awesome. Other dishes we tried were very good also. Dining area is nicely appointed and partially separated from the bar area by a wall. A little noisy but we were able to carry on a conversation. Definitely worth a visit.
The food was good but on the expensive side. Happy Hour drinks very reasonable.
Stopped by on our way home from skiing Vail and what a treat! Tried the bone marrow (delish!!) Along with other apps. Had a drink with vodka and beet juice and that was equally fabulous! Our server was great and the atmosphere just right. We'll definitely be back!
Food was cold. Steak was not what I would consider a good cut of meat. Most of the food was cold and two of the steaks were sent back. Save your money and buy a cheap steak at Applebee's. Completely disappointed! Who rates these places on Yelp?
Had reservations and didn't get a table until awhile later. Poor service, poor food. 2 steaks sent back. Cold food and waiter dropped the "F" bomb !!! Would not recommend to anyone!!!
