I was beyond impressed with this establishment. I assumed Tavern West would be another "touristy mountain town restaurant with underwhelming cuisine at exuberant pricing". Au contraire! The food was creative, flavorful and very well presented. The ambiance was on point regarding the decor, lighting and mountain views. Our server Scot (not sure if he spells it with one or two t's) was knowledgeable, amiable and had perfect timing. The wild mushroom risotto was fantastic...I added rotisserie chicken for an additional 6 bucks and it was well worth it...great place and atmosphere.
OH MY WORD. Amazing is all I can say! We ended up here out of pure luck, almost as a "last resort". But now it will forever be our FIRST resort when we are in town! Awesome food, incredible service.
Been here many times and have enjoyed it each time. Ask to be seated at Lisa's table, she is a great waitress with infectious laugh.
